As Pike Creek Dental office expands, so does our staff. Please give a warm welcome to our three new dental assistants!

Deborah – I have been a dental assistant for over 30 years. I was born and raised in Maine. Growing up in Maine has given me a great love for the outdoors. I am a proud mother of two awesome children.

Melissa – I’m a Delaware native, I grew up in Claymont and I still live there. I am a recent graduate from Delaware Tech. I have my Associate degree in Dental Hygiene and Elementary Education. In my free time I like to read, spend time outdoors, and visit museums. I have 6 dogs and they are the loves of my life!

Prabhna – I was born and brought up in India, worked for some years in Saudi Arabia with people from different countries and then moved to the US. I have been married and have a son and a daughter. I love Indian food and like watching Bollywood movies.”

Pike Creek Dental: Giving Back and Supporting Local!

We hosted a few events this month where we supported local businesses in the Pike Creek area. For the baby shower, we ordered a Cinco De Mayo themed lunch from Tierra Mexi-Cali http://tierramexicali.com/. Everyone loved the fish tacos! As for dessert, we purchased a cactus themed cake from Claudia, our assistant, Liz’s sister. It was absolutely amazing. She took our vision and made it come to life! We purchased a gift card for a patient from Maureen’s Day Spa https://www.maureenssalonandspa.com/ . They offer every salon service you could think of. Check them out if you need a spa day! On Dr. Joanna Green’s birthday the office purchased beautiful flowers from Ron Eastburn’s https://www.roneastburnsflowershop.com/ . We also bought a phenomenal hummingbird cake from Mariyumm! 5/6 – Serita, our dental assistant, celebrated her 2nd work anniversary!

5/15 – Dr. Kyle Green celebrated his 4th work anniversary!

5/25 – Dr. Joanna Green celebrated her birthday with a gorgeous hummingbird cake from Mariyumm!

Besides the birthdays and anniversaries we also celebrated two bundles of joy that will be added to the PCD family. Our hygienists, Audrey and Christie are both due in July with little girls. We threw them a “Taco bout a Baby or Two” themed shower. We also celebrated Grace, our hygienist. Grace is getting married in June and we gave her a little bridal sprinkle!

Donations

Pike Creek Dental continually strives to give back to our community. This past holiday season, employees made gift boxes full of dental items and age appropriate toys for Samaritan’s Purse, an organization that sends boxes of toys to children in need overseas. We also made numerous whitening baskets for local charities and local school events. Dental hygiene bags to local homeless shelters, Independence School, Skyline Elementary, St. Anthony of Padua Grade School, MS Society, Kay’s Kamp are just a few of the many charities we have donated to in the last few months.
