What is Happening Around Pike Creek Dental?

Our office is growing! Please give a warm welcome to Shannon and Bridget.

Shannon (Front Desk) – Born and raised in Hockessin. I am happily engaged to my best friend and we have a beautiful daughter together who is a year and a half old. I have a strong passion for interior decorating, calligraphy, and any DIY project I can get my hands on. If you can’t find me, I am probably shopping at Marshalls. I love gardening, hiking, and adventuring. My family and friends mean everything to me and I’m lucky to have two older sisters who I consider my best friends.

Bridget (Front Desk) – I am a mother of two little girls, who are four and six years old. On a typical Friday night you’ll find me inside a blanket fort with them playing a competitive game of Uno! When I am not with my children, I love going on spontaneous road trips, beach days, learning a new recipe, reading a book, or enjoying a nice winery.

“Life is short, smile while you still have teeth” is my everyday motto!

The staff all worked together to completely transform our office into a winter wonderland for the month of December! It was so festive and uplifting. Our patients really enjoyed the decor. Our friendly North Pole visitors, Mr. and Mrs. Flossy, showed up right on time on December 1st!

December Birthday’s and Celebrations!

In December, we celebrated 3 birthdays and 1 work anniversary.

Dr. Kyle Green celebrated his birthday on the 3rd!

Liz, our assistant, celebrated her birthday on the 22nd.
Martha, our hygienist, celebrated her birthday on the 28th.
Grace, our hygienist, celebrated 1 year.

On December 16th, we closed the office early to have our in-office ugly Christmas sweater day! We supported small businesses and had our lunch catered by Cafe Pomodoro http://www.cafepomodoro.com/ and for dessert, Gotta Lotta Gelata https://www.gottalottagelata.com/ came with their ice cream truck, and the staff had a yummy festive treat! After lunch we played games and did our Secret Santa. What a nice way to end the day!

Pike Creek Dental Patient Spotlight!

Every month for the 2021 calendar year, we will select one patient that has gone above and beyond to make our practice great! We will be honoring this patient with a gift from a local small business!

For the month of January we have selected – Holly Mathe!

Donations

Pike Creek Dental continually strives to give back to our community. This past holiday season, employees made gift boxes full of dental items and age appropriate toys for Samaritan’s Purse, an organization that sends boxes of toys to children in need overseas. We also made numerous whitening baskets for local charities and local school events. Dental hygiene bags to local homeless shelters, Independence School, Skyline Elementary, St. Anthony of Padua Grade School, MS Society, Kay’s Kamp are just a few of the many charities we have donated to in the last few months.
